I loved reading, comic books were the greatest. It came at an early age where my parents would buy them for me and I would become lost in the likes of Gi Joe or Batman and go out and play in the backyard for hours on end. When I turned 18 and went to college and was in need of money I was fortunate to get a job in a small comic book place in my small town. There was only the owner, a sixty year old man named Greg whom I really liked. He was kind and because of his ill health he allowed me to run the place myself for days at a time. It was like I had my very own business! I kept everything categorized, and in order with the new arrivals separate from the classics and those on sale and also kept the record books in order. I was real good with numbers and luckily no one came in to start trouble. I was a small, thin kid really and I couldn't really fight so if someone did try to rob the place it would be an easy score.

Each comic was its own set piece, but some were not as good as others and it is a shame that some would be long forgotten in the rubbish pile and I had to clear the inventory each week of those that did not sell that were either sent back to the company or trashed, but the boss was also kind enough to let me take home those that I wished.

On this particular night it was a holiday weekend so I had the place all to myself and after getting everything in their right place I retired to the back room that had a commons area, boss's office, a bathroom and a empty room that was really a storage closet but this was really my place. There was nothing in it except a blanket and pillow and a foam mat. With the boss gone I went about the store greedily taking up several comics that appealed to me and retired to the room for my own little fun. I went through them to find the heroines that I've always loved, Lara Croft, Barbara Gordon's Batgirl, Catwoman, Scarlett of GI Joe there were some artists that seemed to deliberately design their women to be eye candy or a real tease, especially for the likes of Croft. I wished that these women were real, and theat they were like my servants. I fantasized about going on adventures with them, but It usually ended with me butt fucking them, not like they were complaining they were always satisfied. I may not be well hung but..oh, who was I kidding, I was a 19 year old jacking off in the back of a comic book store, but I was happy and warm.

It was to my good fortunate that a lot of good editions came I n this morning, Batgirl, Catwoman, Scarlett, Croft and many others that was tucked under one arm as I went inside the back room and rolled out the blanket and pillow and laid myself down and kicked off my shoes after locking the door to avoid any embarrassment and laid myself down and placed the stack on the side and peeled the first graphic novel off and looked at the cover, it was Croft;

Though she may be a tough woman, I doubt any experienced traveler would be venturing around in attire such as this, but, the point was mere eye candy and good ones at that, at least to me and me was all that really mattered.

If it wasn't Lara Croft then it was Batgirl, the Barbara Gordon version with the long red hair and bright eyes. Her appearance changed over the years and became rather sexualized, as was could be expected, and her breasts and her ability to bend and contort her body in rather unheard of ways was only capable in comic books or when a contortionist and that was painful to watch.

Nerds online would rant and rave amongst oe another how the comics have changed, and they have, there was no denying that, but some argue that what they have changed into was more eye candy and sexual than anything else, with women wearing scantily clad or revealing clothing and bending over a lot and showing their breasts than actually having a solid story line or anything else that would bring people back and demanding more of it.

Looking through the comics it was a game of Russian Roulette as one comic would be good particularly with the joker or with the crazy, random antics of Deadpool and then get something Rob Liefeld, but what I loved most about comic books is that I didn't have to put in a movie and sit down and star constantly at a television screen but I could take these stapled pieces of paper anywhere and I could look at the pictures and make them say and do anything I want inside my mind.

The ultimate desire of mine was to have at least one of them be real and to do what I wished, but to have all of my desires come to life would be the ultimate but there was no chance of that happening and believe me, I looked it up. There were some 'witches' in this small town but they said that what I asked for was impossible to bring them to life and there were no machines or mad scientists alive that would do the same thing thus I laid out in the room as I heard the build and windows shake a bit. There was a storm coming, going to be a fierce rainstorm by the sound of it thus I was bundled up tightly in the back room and the wind increased in ferocity. Pieces of branches were smacking the building's face and the crash of lightning split the quiet interior that made me jump a couple of times as they came closer and closer then the power flickered several times.

"Great" muttering to myself. In any second there would be total darkness.
