Given the uses of Sangria -

1) so that you can drink a LOT in hot weather without getting legless
2) As a way of introducing children, slowly, to the pleasure of drinking red wine

I think you are making it too strong.
1 litre red wine, decent but not TOO decent
500 ml orange juice
500 ml to 1 litre aerated lemonade, or even soda water.
Ice
bunch of mint leaves, slightly crushed
slices of orange, for decoration

Just drink it - I mean chug it, no sipping.

I think you hit the "New Thread" button by mistake.

Let's all jump on him! Come on, Pack!

To the bat poles.

How Frightfully Embarassing!

Of course I hit the wrong button. That's what comes of making the Sangria too st r o

Do I have to wear tights?

What's that? You want me to dress up as Catwoman and jump on your pole? Ok...

Is it ever!

Is it okay in South Africa?

Since it is not illegal, it must be compulsory.

In Spain, where de Sangria come from, it is Customary. It is of course a good way of getting vitamin C and iron into the little suckers.

I make my sangria according to my Spanish roommate's recipe:

Equal parts cheap table wine and lemon Fanta
2 sticks of cinnamon
orange chunks
various other seasonal fruit (my favorite ever was peaches and strawberries)

Yummy.
