losing track of the board and being busy with life when i check back here i dont have so much time lately so i hardly know what everyones talking about


it can be hard to catch up and when i click thru a few threads im often left without knowing what to say ... i will get back into the swing of things and posting here more when im less busy


anyway do you miss this place when you get busy with real life ... or do you feel slightly out of place when your not posting so much ?

Even the long, dry, dull, academic-sounding, pedantic things i post with somewhat alarming regularity? I think not, kind as you are to say otherwise.

Everyone here - even including Laurel, i'd guess - has days when they feel that nothing they're posting is of the slightest interest to anyone else here, and they might as well be pissing into the wind for all the interaction they're getting from the efforts they're making to connect and communicate with others. *Everyone*.

At that point you gotta go do something away from the GB for awhile (unless you like feeling unappreciated and undervalued), something like taking a walk or going to work out. Alternatively, you gotta find a different way to *be* for awhile during your Lit time. Go answer a few How To... forum queries; there's nothing quite as satisfying as being of help to other people to pull you out of the blues pretty quickly, right?

In any case, we *all* feel like this sometimes.

I spent most of my other Lit life in the SRP forum. It's been 2 months since I've posted with any kind of regularity. RL bit me in the proverbial butt and I was compelled to take a break. Even a short hiatus from this board seemed like an eternity. Y'all are prolific posters!
