Actually I was trying to defend Ish without getting someone else upset, and I was trying to do it with my limited knowledge of this subject. Ish said the earth is in a nearly elliptical orbit, I agreed, and showed my proof. Ubertroll said it wasn't. I didn't feel like arguing especially when he agreed my source was the accepted norm and then disagreed with the sources theories.

I will say that if Ish said symmetrical seasons weren't possible I'd like to ask him why he feels that way.
