Seymour Hersh has been coming under alot of fire since he won his pulitzer for not actually being able to cite his sources as anything but anonymous... the vast majority of his pieces come from anonymous sources

while protecting your sources is paramount to journalism... when your entire career is begining to rest on people that may or may not exist; people will ask questions

many on the right took as gospel a single unnamed indian that the Obama trip cost 200 million a day to India

and now they do the same for someone who has been described thusly
