Unless she's ordered that anything she writes can't be profited from
who thinks the bitch is gonna meet some street justice?
This is not going to be a popular opinion, but I think the jury was right.
Oh, I think she probably did it, but from what I read of the case the prosecution presented, they did NOT present a convincing case beyond a reasonable doubt. There was no forensic evidence except for the "smell" which the defense's expert witness did a good job taking apart.
Other than that, they proved she was dishonest and completely an unsympathetic character. But I don't think they proved their case, and the department's press conference afterwards admitted they did not have the best case in the world to try ... which makes me wonder why they didn't take the death penalty off the table.
I actually think the jury system still is the best one for keeping innocent people out of prison. And, yes, it does sometimes allow the guilty to go free.

Thank you. I was biting my tongue. Do I think she had a hand in it?.. Yep. Do I think they should have at least proven how the child died?..Yes! You're asking 12 people to remove emotion from the loss of a child and complete a pretty big puzzle. A few extra pieces would have been good. If they didn't have it, they should have gone for a lesser charge.
Well, she was acquitted of aggravated manslaughter and aggravated child abuse as well. The government just didn't have that great a case to get a conviction in a criminal court. Had this been a civil case, she probably would have lost.
