Depends on the job and how challenging it is. After more than a decade with the same company i've found my level of fastidious dedication to wane a bit. Most of the time its not very challenging and even if i worked harder my job wouldn't be any more secure nor would i get paid any more because that is just the climate in my industry right now so for me it makes more sense to bide my time and just slowly build my realm of responsibility. In some corporate cultures being too ambitious can actually be a detriment because it makes it harder to get things through all the suspicious functionaries.

Ultimately the corporation doesn't care a straw about me as an employee or a human being therefore i am not inclined to feel very dedicated to it.

It definitely depends on the job. I did one residency in a public school while I was in full-time devotion as a new slave. Whoa! I had to be extremely diligent, because strange things came out of my mouth sometimes. That experience taught me to put some boundaries between the two.

Then don't wear a goddamn leather posture thing, but there's more to a collar than that. Get hold of a tasteful choker or a nice necklace and tell her "this is your new collar now. Get used to it". It's not tricky.

I agree with this. I'm a fan of my D telling me what to wear sometimes, like if we're going out. But on a daily basis...I don't know...feels like micromanaging to me and would actually detract from my perception of the D having actual, real control. But that's just me.
