A Shaman puts a curse on the whites who are stealing the Native peoples land so they don't die, but return to feast on the living.
Think Tremors IV but instead of mutant earthworms, a Zombie apocolypase.
fewer people with greater skills in living off the land, could make this a chronic issue, rather than an end of world pandemic.
