Tonight I was doing my usual ablutions when I noticed that my nose hair was getting long and needed trimming now I need to do this about once a month or it starts to look like I've got a vole living up my nose.

What I wanna know is what fucking biological reason can there be for your nose hair going into overdrive when you hit your thirties.....?........I mean when I was twenty four I didn't have this problem so what gives ?

I hate to think what it's gonna be like when I hit forty four....will I have start mowing the inside of my nostrils on a daily basis....what about ear hair and I've noticed my chest is getting hairier and so is my back.......if do nothing will I become a werewolf ?

Try........

Magic!

All the women here swear by it!

DON"T!!!!!
I'm just kidding!

 !!!!!HAIR ON THE NOSE!!!!!..............OH GOD NO........say it ain't so

Every so often, I take a walk to the corner store for a cup of coffee. There's this guy I see once in awhile that frequents the store. I try not to stare at him, but I can't help looking. His face is literally covered in hair. He has a full beard, but instead of it ending around the bottom of his nose, it actually goes up to the bottom of his eyes. His nose does seem to have an abnormal amount of hair on it. He scares the crap outta me!

I like hairy men :)

I might hold you to that, if I don't shave for a month it looks like I'm trying to swallow a badger :D

I believe the culprit is dihydrotestosterone...same varient of the male hormone that accelerates baldness.

Another wonderful variation of growing older! I am wondering what I will look like with a beard...

Luckly I am lightly haired.

Luckily no baldness.....I have my dad to thank for that one....along with a genetic predisposestion(sp) to heart disease and alcoholism....nobody in my family dies from cancer.....we die of heart attacks and strokes long before cancer has a chance to get us :D

Hey, I kind of like 44 so far! But am I great friends with my tweezers.

And you have your mother to thank, not your dad. Baldness comes from your mom's side of the family. Or not.

So what causes unwanted hair growth for women?

I alway thought we got hairier when our Estrogen stores drop. part of peri-menopause.

Really I always heard that if your father had all his hair then there was a good chance you would retain it as well.....can't thank mum now as she is now only available in powdered form.

I'm sorry.. This struck me as really funny. I know your mom has passed away.. and was cremated.. but to see it said that way.. is funny.

*hugs* Glad to see you on the boards.. I've really missed you

Hair loss is an X chromosone thing.
