Oh, I understand that. I was just wondering about logistics. Those are big critters. Can't see hauling their dead carcasses back in a kayak, but then what do I know? Gut 'em out on the ice? That would reduce a lot of weight.
 
There go all my romantic notions of the great white north. I suppose next you'll be telling me you guys drive cars up there. Where's the mukluks and harpoons?

I drive a Sube as a daily driver. I recall a village elder telling me that once snowmachines got to be dependable, he shot all his dogs.

My wife made mukluks for the kids because 40 years ago you couldn't buy warm boots for infants. We might still have them.
