North to the Future

2 hours east of us on Lake of the Woods there are dozens of island cabins worth well over a million.

Not to mention movie star row, when you cruise the strip from Longbow lake , to the town of Kenora on Lake of the Woods. Several are well over the 10 million dollar price.

CN$1M is like 35¢? Not that bad, I know.

But, for that kinda cash, I'd want year round access. That's just me.

There are very good ice road networks, so really most island camps are more like 10 months of access. Usually January to near the end of march you can drive to most spots.

I am inclined to agree with you though.

Lance Mackey says: "It is with great sadness that I say my friend, my partner, the mother of my babies died in an ATV accident on Sunday night. The babies are safe, they were home with me at the time. Family and neighbors have been here helping us and Jenne's parents are coming up today.
Jenne was my rock during my rehab and recovery. She will continue to be with the kids and I as they grow into the amazing people she knew they would be.
Thank you all for the grace, prayers, and well wishes you have extended to me and my little family for the last 7 months."

He's done some stupid things in his life, but they've only been self inflicting as far as consequences. I hope having to tend to these two kid straightens his ass out.
