We're moving to the Greenville area and I'm hoping to get information on cost of living, jobs, housing (rental or buy), schools, entertainment, morality laws.....the list goes on and on.

Oh yeah SURFING information too. I cant believe that I might be moving back to surf country.

It's not at the beach yet it's not far from it either. The waves are really not that big unless you go up to the outer banks.

we're still in shock on the amount that she(the wife) was offered. Just in time too cause her students loans are coming up due.

Anyone have info on the coast there and how the fishing is?

NC does have the most beautiful Mnt. and beaches I have ever seen......... but I haven't been around much

Be ready for huricanes though!!! and we are supose to get twice as many this year as last. all comeing from the Attlantic too!!!!

There's more than just the college hangouts, but thiose are fun, too. Downtown has all sorts of clubs and bars. There are more upscale entertainments establishments uptown, as well.

Hurricanes Smurricanes...we had tornados in OKlahoma and I would rather face a forecastable hurricane any day. Ever seen a two by four tossed through a tree? Aint pretty, let me tell ya!

Actually guys, this is helping a lot.

What about the seedy side of NC? Any "clubs"?

your right!! but we have a few of them as well. Not as many as down in GA or over out west but a few.

seedy side?? I can't help you but warn that I did meet my exwife in one

one bad thing about our East West state is that we really don't have any good East West hwy...... so if your on the cost and you want to go to the Mnt. this fall...... it'll be about a 7 hr trip!
