Nora

lol! I've already done math for one person today, toots. ;)

(and you couldn't be termed stupid by a long shot!!)

No, really. Help me with this problem.

Snow falls in missouri at seven hundred fifty flakes per second per square inch. The pavement seems to be immune to said snowfall. How likely is it that Eumenides will be a lazy git tomorrow?

Oh phew! I like the easy ones! This is easy, but there are more variables.

If X = Eumenides doesn't get her ass to bed then the chance of L (laziness) = nil, according to the "He who gets no sleep must pull a full shift" corollary of Murphy's Law.

However, should Y (Eumenides is a good girl and goes to bed)occur, then the probability of L occurring increases by a rate of 10% per hour of sleep she accrues.

So then Eumenides should equal x so that she can get to her sister's wedding on time?

Fuck, I burned Minky's crepes.

oh well, she didn't need 'em anyway.

Eumenides, that means that the likelihood of you getting a snowday increases in a direct proportion to the amount of sleep you get.

I understood that...so i should get little sleep.

It stopped snowing. I won't have a snow day. (crosses fingers in hopes) I can go to bed soon, then.

Told you. That particular corollary never fails.
