So ok, I scared the guys at the liquor store tonight. I was buying some Kirsch and they asked me about it, how does it taste, etc. I said, "ugh! I wouldn't drink the crap! It tastes like cough syrup!" and they thought i was being all defensive (which I wasn't). So I explained that I only use it in fondue. They were surprised that it's one of the ingredients and asked what else was in it. So I told 'em.

One of the guys said, "wow, that sound fantastic! You'll have to bring us some so we can see how it tastes!" I replied, "Sure, everyone likes a wad of cold, leftover cheese. YUM!"

I think he took offense. I meant to add that I have an electric fondue pot (a chanukah present from mi amiga! YAY!) and that I'd bring it up and make it hot for them. But I think I left off that part.

Now I have to find a new liquor store.
