Non romantic movies for date night

I've decided to do something a little different. Instead of renting romantic films,
I'm going to go the route of horror/thriller/montster films for a regularly scheduled date night.
Here are the films thus far:

"Rogue", "Blackwater", "Primevil" (Crocs)
"The Reef", "Open Water", "Deep Blue Sea" (Sharks)

Besides the films we will have popcorn, softdrinks, beer, wine.

(Btw the thread is meant to be somewhat humerous but still legit at the same time).

I approve. 95% of 'romantic' movies annoy me. Some films I'd recommend then kind of going a long with your theme would be Pan's Labyrinth and Julia's Eyes directed by Guillermo de Toro, Shutter is a really great Asian horror film (released 2004 and Thai).

I have suggestions for other darker films, but they're not horror as such, and definitely not monster-themed. They're well-made and thought-provoking, but perhaps not classically 'date night', depending on what sort of people you are, but if you like the ones above I can list more
