Has anyone here heard of or seen any kind of collars that lock without the use of some kind of padlock or visible locking system? Even more interesting is the idea of a collar with a locking system that is permanent. That is, a collar that has an integral lock that cannot be opened so that once locked on the collar is non-removable. Has anyone ever seen something like this?

ya know, i think we actually had a thread not to long ago about this. you should try the library for some links and info! ^_^

I have never actually seen one as you describe, and rarely hear it discussed, but is something I would find attractive, though practicalities may not make it always the wisest idea.

I am of the opinion that all collars should be easily removable by a paramedic.

From what I understand, Tiffany makes a nice locking bracelet. The premise is it's held together by screws and the person who gives it to you has the screwdriver that was used to put it on her wrist. I haven't seen the one by Tiffany, but emitations has a good knock off.

No, it's not a necklace or a collar but would make a nice alternative for those of us who come from strict conservative backgrounds, at least in my opinion.

Just personally, I don't think I'd want to have something around my neck for the rest of my life that can never be removed.

I do not like My subs sleeping with collars around their necks.

I always remove it before bedtime. Safety first.

The idea is intriguing, but i worry about health reasons.

I, too would have concern for the same reasons. But the idea is very unique and interesting...quite unlike other things I have seen. It is the kind of thing that would make a great fantasy story, in my opinion. Actually, now that I think of it I may have read something with similar items in it, but can't recall for sure.

I would be much more inclined to wear something permanent in the form of a bracelet like the one posted above before I would accept any kind of permanent collar. I am not professionally able to wear (or dont feel able to wear) a collar...but a bracelet would not be noticed.
