Okay, after spending almost an hour scanning through some of the non-con threads I've seen a lot of tangents but no serious discussions on this question.

Guidelines say they have to be enjoying the non-con aspect of it. The "victim" in the scene confronting past sexual trauma. He is not enjoying this, but he specifically asked for it. It is a role-play with a professional domme. They have discussed and negotiated what will and may happen in this scene. She re-enacts the scene on him with the goal of provoking his anger to the point that he will lash out. She knows this going in to and prepares for that to happen. When he does react violently she stays in character and mocks him to sustain his anger. She begins to dissociate, recognizing that he is hurting her, but she has dropped into subspace, which is something she was hoping for. When the scene ends there is catharsis and healing. The top emotionally supports her bottom, who in turn apologizes for his actions toward her. She accepts the apology because this was the behavior they both sought.

Is this going to fail to pass the filters?

I have read what I consider to be much darker scenes, but that is because this scene occurs with the consent of both parties even though they both know that it will be quite traumatic for both of them.

If there's explicit consent for both, it would likely be viewed as CNC more than NC.

Interesting situation.

First, I'd say it's not "real" non-con, because it's role play, and if you make it clear it's role play then I think you should not run afoul of the non-con restrictions.

Second, it would seem to me that because your story's primary purpose is something other than trying to titillate reader with forced sex, it should be OK. It's an unusual scenario (based on my non-con reading experience), but it seems to me it should be fine.

Thank you for your replies.
This isn't even the point of the story, this is a scene inside the greater journey of the domme. It's important because it's kind of a turning point for her that illustrates something she is trying to/afraid to learn about herself.
