Does anyone out there identify as non-binary/genderfluid/genderqueer/etc.? Like in their day-to-day life, not just cross dressing as a sexual thing (not that there’s anything wrong with that!) I currently identify as “confused” and would love to talk with people who don’t fit neatly into a gender category.

I don't know if I can be a ton of help but I would say my husband is gender fluid, he still uses he/him pronouns but dresses in women's clothes everyday, not as a sexual thing, though we do play around with that. He has very feminine hair and long red nails and will wear heels or flats out and dresses. He is more like "this is who I am" and "this is what I like to wear" than identifying as anything in particular. It definitely gets him noticed both positively and negatively, but I couldn't imagine him any other way at this point. I guess what I'm saying is there are a lot of options out there so it's kinda figuring out what you like and going with it. That's easier said than done because of society, but he's made it happen and it's impressive. I am inspired by his authenticity and courage everyday. Again not sure if that helps but feel free to reply to this or pm me if you want to talk more. All the best to you on your journey!

OMG that absolutely helps! I don’t particularly care about “identifying” as anything but I increasingly want to just let my masculine and feminine and whatever else sides just be themselves

I'm cis-masculine myself but have had two partners who were nonbinary. One was somewhat genderfluid, the other was more like genderless.

Interesting, would you be willing to share more?
I can't really speak for them. I guess I was just showing that you aren't alone.

They were both AFAB. I guess I somehow am a magnet for queer-girl energy, because of these two and most of my other AFAB partners were not heterosexual.

Suits me fine! I like genderqueer AMABs too but haven't been with a transwoman.

I appreciate that. I don’t necessarily want to label myself or others but was just curious how many people on here didn’t necessarily identify completely with either “default” gender.
