Non-active thread

I'm just being up front with you. I'd hate to leave you disappointed and heartbroken on Valentine's Day.

Goodness! Now that I see the thread that does make it official. I have two other vacations coming up. I planned to just read, I suppose I better get writing!

AH, would you be upset if I submit something of 85K?

I'm setting everything up for this, I'm quite excited!
Go for it! I believe a ~80-90k story won Valentine's this year with a perfect 5, so you should absolutely toss that sucker in! Good luck

Go for it, why would AH be upset.

Because schoolgirl erotica is cringe.

*Actually, there are no schoolgirls in my plan. I'm just making a joke by asking AH if they would be upset because 750-word stories also upset AH. Regardless, meow.*

Given the theme, are the stories strictly supposed to be prose? Or would a poetry submission be acceptable? I suspect it is allowed but didn't find anything that said one way or the other.

(Also *bump* ;) )

We had this question last year. IIRR, poetry gets included in the comp list, but isn’t eligible for the prize. But I can try to confirm and post the answer here.

I asked, whether or not I get an answer 🤷‍♀️.

“We currently do not include poems in the story contests, though authors can absolutely submit poems based on special contest themes for publication!”

This applies to all competitions, obviously.
