It's one of the benefits of being President. You get to pardon people. It's either good for everyone of good for no one, not either or.

My point is that Republicans have a real problem these days. They point fingers and blame everyone for everything, but they have a problem accepting blame themselves. For the last 8 years the Republicans have been attacking Clinton and claiming to be outraged, not at his beliefs, but at his actions. I would like to see the exact same standard applied to their leaders. What Bush did in stealing the election was 100% unacceptable. It was illegal, it was unethical, and it was unheard of in the history of the United States. Votes matter more than politicians. Bush used a court that his father help assemble to stop votes from being counted so that he could be appointed. He got less votes, the truth is coming out now, but it's too late. If he really stood for what he says he does, he would step down and let the man who won the election take over, but he does not. Bush is a liar and a their and corrupt in ways that make Cliton look like an angel. I just want to see Republicans get angry at Bush like they did at Clinton. If you don't, it just proves that you never had anything against Clinton at all other than the fact that he was a Democrat.

You're dead wrong. There have been numerous recounts and partial studies of the ballots. In every single on Gore has gained votes. The Republican spin machine took part of one recount and announced that Bush gained 6 votes in one single county in one recount - that did not tell you the number of votes Gore gained in all of the other counties or in under & over votes. Also - the lastest Newsweek is reporting that their investigation shows that the Whitehouse was not trashed at all it the reports were just exagerations from the Bush people. Here is a DIRECT quote from the latest Newsweek:

"His (Clinton's) staff may not have trashed the White House quite as badly as the Bushies claimed earlier in the week. They said they found the place in ruins, with power cords ripped from machines and furniture destroyed. Lastly, Bush is now threatening to overturn the Clinton pardon of Mark RiCh. This is unheard of in the history of the United States, and Democrat Presidents never even considered overturning the pardons that Reagan and Bush Sr. did, no matter how horrible the crimes that some of those people committed (murder, etc.) Don't you find it funny that Bush would go against the constitution (again) and try to overturn the pardon of a guy who donated some money to the Democratic party, and yet he has no problem with his father pardoning murders just because their testimony might put Bush Sr. in jail? Don't you find that at least a little bit strange? Or is Bush beyond reproach in your eyes? Turn off Rush and look at the facts: Bush was never elected and he will never be president.

From what I understand (& I'm no White House aide, see i'm not wearing kneepads ) I think they do that every term. Bush Sr.'s team stacked the desks on top of each other. Clinton's team stole the 'W's off the keyboards. At first the white house said that the outgoing democrats vandalized the place but today the news said the reports of vandalism were untrue except for the keyboards. I don;t know why the white house made a big deal about it this year when no other president has. I don't know why they said there was vandalism when there wasn't. It's all a mystery to me.

Gosh ppl get over it, If you only knew what really goes on behind closed doors in Washington, it would scare the hell out of ya.

As for as the pranks go, I have no problem with harmless pranks. But the destruction of property, that I and you paid for, really pisses me off.

They take enough taxes out of my pay check, only to replace or fix the things we have already paid for.

There is alot more things that money could be spend on, that would benefit the American ppl.

Hell, you have elderly ppl on a fixed incomes, that can't even pay for there medication, or heat there homes in the winter. there's alot more examples that our money can be used for.

So get over it, and lets use some of that energy to make it a better life for all of us.

I guess i'm just venting, one of my friend's company just informed him, that they were closing there doors, this guy has been with them for 33 years. He is 53 years old, has four kids, two in college. His youngest is crippled and has had many surgery's.

He told me yesterday, that they had a meeting and he was going to get a severence package, but guess what, there is going to be taxes taken out of that severence package. OH WELL, I guess the government needs that money to pay for there pranks. My friend surely don't need that money to start over.
