Lucille Bliss' name might not be immediately familiar, but she helped bring some of our favorite cartoon characters to life. Bliss, who died last week at the age of 96, was the voice of Cinderella's nastiest stepsister, Crusader Rabbit, Elroy Jetson and blue-skinned seductress Smurfette. Bliss' 60-year career started when she borrowed $50 to travel to Los Angeles to audition for the role of Anastasia in Walt Disney's "Cinderella." "Six months later I got a phone call [offering me the job]," she said. "I almost dropped the phone. … That is the way it all began." After literally growing up with Bliss' characters, we're smurfing glad it did.
