Since you ask… I only eat avocados nationally sourced. My strawberries are from local farmers. I know because my local veggie market makes it a point to post where they are getting their stuff from. I check to avoid supporting slave or slave like labor practices.

What is most important to see at the moment is not who built America, but that Trumpettes and the Coup-attempting Donald Trump (supported by the board Trumpettes) are trying their best to destroy America.

When was the last coup you know of that wasn't trying to destroy the country? Coups ipso facto are authoritarian activities. And don't try to tell me Donald Trump didn't try--isn't still trying--to engineer a coup in the United States--'cause then you'd get another horselaugh.

First things first, we need to torpedo this idea that slaves built this country. While it’d be unrealistic to say they weren’t a part of the nation’s development, putting them as the prime constructors of an entire nation is like saying the guy who crafted the axle at the car factory built your vehicle. He was definitely a part of it, but he hardly gets to take full credit.

So many kinds of people came to the new world and worked their own land, built their own towns, and established their own societies without the help of slaves. For one, the Trans-Atlantic slave trade transported well over 12 million slaves, but only a little over 300,000 made their way into the United States. This didn’t happen all at once. Slavery did officially begin in 1619, but it began with just over 20 slaves.

To think that over the course of time that singular group of people built an entire nation — even a burgeoning one — by themselves is the height of fantasy. Especially as you continue to plug in the numbers.

"But in a longer struggle the North’s advantages were substantial. With a population of 20 million, the Northern states obviously possessed a much larger military manpower base, but their industrial capacity was far greater as well. In 1860 the North had over 110,000 manufacturing establishments, the South just 18,000. The North produced 94 percent of the country’s iron, 97 percent of is coal and – not incidentally – 97 percent of its firearms. It contained 22,000 miles of railroad to the South’s 8,500. The North outperformed the South agriculturally as well. Northerners held 75 percent of the country’s farm acreage, produced 60 percent of its livestock, 67 percent of its corn, and 81 percent of its wheat. All in all, they held 75 percent of the nation’s total wealth.”

Some of the comments on here like 74's are made by people outside the U. S. who live in countries where slavery is real now. And some by brain dead criminals like those belonging to the anti-democratic DNC. But as far as the great majority of those that live here, we all know that the democrats are known as the slave party, they can be traced back to the beginning of the slave trade and are still in that trade now at our southern borders. They fought Jefferson and Adams in the writing of the Declaration, they ensured that the economy in areas were built on slavery and forced Americans into a civil war. After the war for one generation the former slaves were free, but the democrats again forced them back into servitude with Jim Crow laws, segregation, etc. Again, under the leadership of Dr. King they ensured that the Constitution was stronger in representing equal rights, but again at this time the Communists Democrats are forcing blacks, many who are foolish enough to allow themselves to fall back into the old ways of thinking that everything "black" should be separate, including classrooms, business, media, etc. back into the kind of race hate, class warfare that the imperialist nations like China and Russia are governed by. Some who are so foolish to fall for this b.s. say "Oh great, we are still slaves to the DNC, but slaves with gold chains." Next the DNC will allow blacks their own rest rooms, their own water fountains and their own place in the back of the bus just as before.

And it was not slavery that built this country. Communists take down statues, rewrite dictionaries and history and destroy family values, edcation, religion and free speech and press because slaves who desire those things, who know they have rights to those things because they allow people to think for themselves and not follow their "god", like Xi who desires to rule the world, but rule themselves. It was hard working citizens who we are all proud of that built this country. No forced slave has ever wanted to build anything for "Master". It was true honest people of all colors, races, and reglion and even politics that built the best country in the world.

Humans make mistakes, but in a free country those mistakes can be corrected. You don't go back a hundred years and cry like a little spoiled baby over something that no longer is as an excuse for your personal failures. If you find something that is wrong like like woke and criminals like those that burned our cities, looted our homes and business and murdered our citizens you change it and destroy it and remember "history" so that it doesn't happen again. (That is why education is such a crime to the democrats and communists because with education you learn not only the good of the past, but the mistakes. You ensure the good stays and that the bad is not repeated.)

The real slaves in this country now are the leaders who have taken over Washington (including the high ranking military) and many of the states and cities with the help of the good old Nazi Soros who is the "bag man" for China and Russia. They are too stupid to see what will happen to them once their "buddies" take complete control. They destroy the environment, economy, education, and freedoms of the citizens and have taken away our right to an honest election. They even want the slaves they are now bringing into this country to vote even though they are not citizens, because they know they could never win an honest election without foreign slaves and criminals and stuff ballot boxes. These people are not here to build this country, but maybe in a few generations they too will rise up like the black soldiers of the Civil War and help free themselves and the rest of us from the trash that now runs this country.

Imperialsist Red China and Russia and their colonies are built on slavery. If you are anti-slavery your are anti-communists and facists and want to see an end to the puppets they have put in charge of not only this country, but the rest of the world and rid the world of slavery once and for all.
