I think I may have met my new Dom. Just phone/internet right now, but definately making plans to meet soon. He's thrown a new one at me and I wanted to see who else has been asked to do this.

He wants me to quit shaving everything. Legs, armpits - I never did shave my pussy - but no trimming even. Its been nearly a week and yipes! The hair!

I'm finding it hard to see the attraction - plus the thought of going around with hairy legs is making me nervous. Anyone with any insight? Experience?

Actually I have. I have a friend, Dee, who lives in NZ and her master won't let her shave either. Some men like the hairy look. I'm glad K isn't one of them.

There are other possible reasons as to why crazybbwgirl's new Dom may be insisting that she not remove any of her body hair. Some men prefer their women to remain 'as is', and skip the shaving. Some men LIKE & prefer hairy underarms, legs and a full untrimmed bush, rather than the smooth shaven look of soft skin. These men do seem to be of the minority regarding their preference for hairy women, but they obviously do exist.

If i hadn't been subjected to the popular beliefs (as society & culture dictated while i was 'growing up') that women SHOULD be smooth and hairless with the exception of the crowning glories set atop their heads, perhaps i would not be so grossed out by the idea of NOT shaving my underarms & legs. Perhaps i would not enjoy the smooth feel of my own legs after shaving during a long hot bubble bath. Perhaps i would not have a bathroom cabinet filled with waxing products, razors, hair removal creams & tweezers. i'd certainly save a $$-BUNDLE-$$ , as well as quite a bit of TIME.

i'm happy that my Master shares my enjoyment of a smooth shaved bush, legs, and armpits, and don't know how i'd adjust should He ever decide (highly unlikely though) that He likes all of that body hair.

Perhaps crazybbwgirl's master will allow her to bleach the hair (the method has it's drawbacks for some -- chemical burns .. ouch) so as to make it appear as less noticeable? If he likes her to remain hairy though, it seems likely that he won't agree to the method.

What sinnOcent1 just said seems pretty correct. Since we all shave since growing hair (more or less), we are used to being smooth and shaved. I do think that it is possible to get used to the 'natural' look and feeling.
I guess the only problem I would have would be to show it. I think it looks really gross when women are wearing sleeveless tops where hair comes out. I'm not that picky about hairy legs (no sweat and other dirt).

One of the things that we have to consider is that culturally, we Americans (and some other societies) have this obsession with _youth_, and that bare pits, legs and no bush are the marks of pre-pubescent females.

Hair growth in the pits and pubic area marks the maturation of a girl into a woman.

A guy who makes his woman shave, won't have sex with someone who isn't shaved... might have a wee touch of pedophilia and the shaved look is how he wraps his head around having sex with a woman instead of a child. I'm not implying that this is the only reason a guy might want a shaved woman, but don't dismiss the idea, ladies. It has happened.

Me personally, hairy pits don't bother me, but they don't attract me either. Shaved or trimmed or all natural bushes are fine with me, though for going down I somewhat prefer trimmed or shaved. Gagging on a pubic hair in the middle of oral just isn't much fun! *chuckles*

But I have to admit that dark hairy legs squick me just a bit, and if a woman has more and darker hair on her arms, chest or back than I do, well, that's a hard limit! EEEeeeewwwww *LOL*

Wow. I've never heard of a Dom wanting this either, but from your last post I can understand the reasons. It definately shows a serious level of submission to do that for someone. I hate to shave, do it only for special occasions (swimsuit, etc), and I don't shave my bush... Believe me, you'll get used to it.

Having suggested to subs that they grow out their pubic hair a bit (to spare my tender regions from their stubble...) I wonder if that's his motivation. A few men do like the "winter look", but not I.

My ex wife (may she rest in peace really soon, caused by something that happened while I have an airtight alibi) didn't shave for extended periods of time, but since we didn't have sex anyway, who cared? Aside from the marginal aesthetics, I didn't. You do get used to it, and until the advent of the razor, I would guess few women tried to remove hair leg at all. Just to ease your anxiety though... I stopped shaving years ago. I trim my pubic hair (but not much) just so it doesn't get caught in my leg-elastic. I rarely shave in summer time just because it is cooler, but I make sub shave me.

Anyway, walking around in skirts and such, I have yet to look around to see anyone whispering about me. People just don't really care. They may think you're not someone "they'd" want to ask out, but they don't sit and whisper behind their hands or anything.

I have never understood the relation that some people form between a grown woman shaving her pubes completely, and a child. I have shaved my pubes for over 5 years, completely smooth.
