I was recently diagnosed with "Intrusive Thoughts", a mental condition which is sort of like mild Skizophrenia. It actually makes it impossible for me to orgasm during sex or masturbation, yet I still have the lust for sex. Needless to say it's quite frustrating for me and my girlfriend. I was wondering if anyone else out there knows of this problem or has any ideas?

No Hope, No Soap...end of the Rope...

My God Man...how old are you?

All I can say is try to release all your evil/intrusive thoughts, letting your only goal (for lack of a better word) be to enjoy the time with your girlfriend. You didn't say if you could maintain a erection, or came during masturbation.

Perhaps easing yourself into the moment with wine, candles, very soft music and total romance might help you. If not, you may need either Sexual Therapy or some mind-altering drugs from your doctor.

That's it for now. Short of Priaprism, your not coming (too quickly or at all) sounds like the life women want. (Ha, ha!)

Good Luck & take care!

I don't know any fast cure for your problem. Drugs would most likely cause further sexual dysfunction. I have one idea though. I practice martial arts, and one of the most important things I have learned is the ability to just shut off concious thought as well as subconcious and unconcious verbalization while practicing, putting myself in greater touch with my reflexes and senses.
My suggestion is to try something like tai chi or chi gung (I reccommend the Healing Tao techniques, look in the bookstores for just about anything by Mantak Chia) it might help you to bypass your Intrusive Thoughts. I suffer from mild psychological disorders also, and these techniques really help me to maintain balance in my mind.

I have recently read a book that applies here. The title is Change Your Brain Change Your Life. It is excellent! I have used it to help with my long time ADD father and more recently my daughter. If you really want the authors name I could dig it out. A lot of the treatments in the book are drug free too.

One more thing, coming from a different angle, you might consider a form of bodywork called SomaEmotional release (I think) or something like that. I could double check the name.
