The proliferation of CERTAIN TYPES of guns is NOT conducive to preventing tyranny. And those CERTAIN TYPES of guns can actually create mini tyrants and mini tyrannical fiefdoms all over the country. There is a damn good reason why "law enforcement" often chooses to "look the other way" when certain individuals and groups tread all over the law (See: Cliven & Ammon Bundy, various militias, etc) - that is, when "law enforcement" isn’t actually the primary membership of those militias, etc.

Democrats DO advocate for common sense gun laws, but “a hatred of guns”??? Hardly. I’m a Democrat with a law enforcement background from a hunting / military family. A “hatred of guns” is a laughable accusation to level at Democrats ("the Left").
