No font or image attachment tool strip buttons

As of yesterday, I no longer see any font or media attachment buttons (they are grey'd out / disabled).
I've tried launching a new browser etc but still the same.
Is this a broader / known issue or just me?

Things look normal for me. Can you log in with a different browser? If that works, you can try dumping all cookies in the other browser.

Interesting. Yes! A different browser (chrome) seems to work fine.
