I'm not into pain that much, but the idea of getting my nipples pierced is very compelling.

Any advice?

Does it hurt a lot? Can you take them out later and let them heal?

Is the pleasure enough to make up for the pain?

Thanks guys!

Hurt is minimal during the actual procedure.

Yes they can be removed.

Yes to your last question once they are fully healed!

The pain is kind of ritualistic, i.e enough to really feel and give you the sense you've done something, but it wasn't all that bad, imho.

Just my two cents. I think that "stock" is always better than "custom" when it comes to women's nipples.

aha. my guy wants me to....and i'm thinking about it...but even before he asked, I'd always wanted to get them pierced. I'm just a wuss lol.

The best thing about Piercings, is that if you decide at any point you no longer want them, or they cause any problems, they can just be taken out, and you'll heal over again

I had both my nipples pierced at the same time. I'd gone to have more added to my Frenum, but the 4 I'd had done the week before hadn't fully healed over yet.

I have only had 1 problem with those piercings. I had a tag hanging from the hoop in my right nipple, and the sharp edge of the tag had sliced through my nipple, to the bar. When that split/healed, I lost a small fraction of my nipple, so just beware of such silly things. :)

Please let us know what you decide to do either way, and thanks for taking the time to ask here.

(If you have any questions about the piercings themselves, please feel free to ask.)

Honestly, how much would you say it hurts to have them done? And what does it feel like when they are healing? Once they are healed, would you say that having them pierced adds to your pleasure, or is it the opposite? If you could go back and change your mind, would you?

Thanks for the help!

see I want one like this:

interestingly, the second picture you attached looks to me like the "non-piercing" type of jewlry that clamps itself on...

so inquiring minds (or at least mine) would like to know:

did you do it? (old thread obviously)

if so how'd you like it?..if not why not?...

if not have you tried the pinch type like here or possibly "hugs" type?

Personally I dated one woman with nipple piercings and it freaked me out at first. She loved them, loved when I played with them but it wasn't my thing.

That is entirely personal preference. My vote would be don't mess up the perfection god gave you in that department.

My only advice if you decide to go through with it is make sure you research the piercer before you do it. I had one piercing done from a less than reputable place and he botched it. I didn't know he botched it until after the healing was done.

The back of the piercing never really fulling healed. I had to push the back of the piercing through healed skin every day.

So just make sure the person doing the job knows their stuff.

Pain is different from person to person, and there is no way for you to get an actual answer for this. It's a relative factor. Everything from your personal pain resistance to body type will have an effect on how you handle the damage.
Also, damage is exactly what this is, you ARE pushing metal through sensitive tissue. You could have the issue of losing sensitivity, up to the inability to breast feed from the process going wrong.
This is something you don't want to go into recklessly, and should consider everything before making such a decision. It's your body to modify, but it's always good to find someone whom has a good reputation on this specific job.
If you choose to go through with it, take special care while you heal. Don't allow them to get pulled, stretched, or toyed with to much until you're able to take the bar out....

I just realized this is from 2010. Obviously it's a moot point. Walking away now.

Go ahead and do it! Then show us the pics after... AND THEN when they get infected, show us those pics too! And when your grandchildren ask why you have no nipples, you can tell them what happened...

Just saying....

hmmm, interesting, there is more than two years between posts 17 and 18...
