I was and am still thinking about getting mine pierced. I have the lower portion of my anatomy, so why not the upper? My problem is that I have tiny nipples, so it would be difficult I think for them to pierce, and that is one area that I don't want a botched piercing. If I felt as confident about doing my own nipples, I would. I heard that there are just too many sensitive nerve endings to do it oneself.

Everyone thinks that the penis piercing would hurt or have a shit load of nerve endings. Just the opposite in fact. When you were little did you ever take a straight pin or safety pin and poke it just through the very end of your finger? That point where it's just extra skin and the needle goes through but doesn't hurt, that's like the penis piercing. At that particular spot it's very sensitive sure, but it's basically extra skin that stretches very far and then becomes relatively thin and easy to pierce. Once the piercing is in place, which I suggest low enough to find a thick amount of skin but not on the shaft, then the skin, once relaxed, goes back to normal and the piercing heals just like pierced ears or anything else. I've been gauging mine now for about a year and am up to a 10 G. I use a U-bend ring so I can take it out when I want a break from it. It does decrease sesitivity a little bit, but that just means that I last longer. Also, it rubs women very nicely during penetration. So I've been told. I can't stand the capture rings because they are a bitch to take in and out.
