Night Shift With Needfull

I wish I could be curled up under my warm quilt and blanket, with the fan on for noise, the air cool and the sheets too...a warm ball of fur at my side that is my kitty-cat. A nice dream setting itself up in my mind, a box of kleenex beside my pillow and a glass of cold apple juice on my bedside table.

With no where to go and many hours of the night left in which to dream...

That sounds very comforting.:rose:

I mean it too!

When I was a kid, I used to imagine myself in a tree house, like on a deserted island, something I built myself. Safe and warm and dry. Curled up in a bed made from dried grass sewed into a parachute. Animal pelts as both bedding and blanket. Palm frond shutters...its raining outside, monsoon season.

I just lie there listening to the rain fall, with no where to go and nothing to do.

Nighttime can be comforting and yet at times scary.
I don't sleep well at night. In fact I am awake most every night. I try and find things to keep me busy, but sometimes I just lie in bed snuggled down and watch tv or watch movies all night. And I never go outside at night, too many things lurking in the darkness.

I hope things are better for you soon. :rose:

There is beauty in the night though. Much magic and wonderment. I like the night, I just wish I had someone to share it with. Feel free to take shelter here Icey-Fire and welcome to the thread. Come in out of the cold.

Thank you for the warm welcome to your Thread.

The night can indeed sometimes be beautiful. In fact I love looking at the stars and the moonlight. Even sometimes I enjoy watching lightening across the sky. The only problem is that I am agoraphobic and have trouble staying outside for more than a few minutes at a time. But I do enjoy those moments when I can.

*looks at with concern* May I give you a hug?

No need to be concerned, and a hug would be nice for sure.
Thank you.:rose:

*wraps arms around and holds warm and close* I am here most nights, so please, drop by as often as you like. I enjoy discussions of everything from day-to-day life to the secrets of the occult.

I want to talk about some spooky stuff tonight. Halloween approaches ever closer. So somebody who has nothin better to do, tell me a ghost story.

Haven't been in any spooky scenes, since the coldcream bottles came thudding down the stairs...

How you doing Hon?

I am a contrary gal..

That stuff wires me to no end..

I'm likely to commit unspeakable acts on it.

Glad I don't get a cold often :p:rose:

*considers* Hmn unspeakable acts huh? *hands her the Nyquil*

I swear...I wont stop if you don't.
