And then I thought about the CA drought and how man manipulated nature. As if the Anasazi weren't driven into cultural extinction seven hundred years ago.

And this is just because Byron wasn't the only one that listened/listens to classical. (Do you hear some Yes in this?)

My cousins own Sloppy Joe's in Key West and book a lot of bands. On one improbable night they had booked Keith Urban while I was in town. He was an up and comer at the time and we hit it off. But that was before he went into rehab.

We hooked up again about 9 months ago through his "personal chef." I must admit that he wasn't all that enthused to see me again, guess he thought I was going to buy him a drink.

I hate those ads but that was a good one. Reminds me of my dusty beaver story I posted about today. Nice Keith Urban/Sugarland Eagles ditty, honestly I've never heard either of them sing...not bad at all.

As many of you know I '[ve been going through a bout of cancer. I've survived that. And the young folk make fun of my age, to which I say, "You'll be me sooner than you think."

Very nice!

Isn't it more like one hears it in Yes?

When I was in high school my dad took all my prog rock albums and played me the classical pieces they used.

I have been to a few classical concerts since Byron's death and I really miss listening with him though it is getting easier.

I have always listened to classical.

Glad you survived.
