Okay so you wanna know what's happening then?

My little man has settled into school perfectly, I even volunteer a couple of days a week, and the kids all think I'm a crazy woman, but I love em all and they seem to like me ... Thank-God (LOL). He is learning to read and he just adores his new friends, even if he has gained an attitude along the way, but we'll work through that I'm sure.

My life took an interesting turn just the other day, I got a phone call from my best friend, you know, the one you'd die for, anyway she informs me that her husband (whom is the only man that she's ever gone out with that I actually liked), and herself are going to start having an open marriage. That's fine, even great I tell her, until she then asks me if I'd like to sleep with her Husband. For the first time in the 11 years we've been best friends I was speechless. Now I have to think about it and I dunno what to do.

Do I do it and risk loosing the respect that we have for each other or, do I not do it and risk loosing the respect that we have for each other? I guess I need to sit down and really talk to her about it. Find out exactly what their both after, but I don't think I'll be doing it ... Don't wanna be with anyone until I'm with my man (oh yes and he knows, we talked about straight after my best friend and I did).

You know what freaks me the most? The fact that SHE asked me, and she could fully tell how shocked I was too. I dunno what to do now.

Anyway how have the two of you been then? Mensa babe it's been awhile since we talked, I miss our showers together

Merelan, I see you've been back to the old party mode as of late, and I LOVE it ... keep it up beautiful

I'm sorry for getting back to this thread so late but this past weekend was the May two-four holiday here. It's the unofficial start of the summer season. There is so much to see and do that I didn't have time to even turn on the computer. I had one hell of a good time!!

So the kids think you're a crazy woman, do they? Well, we here know the answer to that one!! Just add water and she becomes a wild woman. LOL

I rarely give advice on matters of a personal nature but this "friend" who asked you to sleep with her husband doesn't sound like much of a friend. Don't do it, Nicole, it won't work. A real friend would never put you in such an awkward position. Never come between a man and a wife, even with an open invitation. It's just not smart! If you want to keep her as a friend then be diplomatic, tell her you don't do it with married men, it's an unshakeable rule. I trust whatever you decide to do will be the right thing!

I'm not going to do it, I'm not at all attracted to him in that way, and even if I was, I don't think I could.

She is the bestest friend I have, and I do understand why she's asking, but it's just not in me, seriously, I couldn't do that. I have to have some feelings for the man I'm with.

I needed advice, and I got that from two of the best people at this site ... Thanks Merelan and Mensa.
