I used to also call her the shortened name with 'pie' attached to the end

Hm, I don't have any man right now, but an ex used to always refer to me as "Babe". He said it in the sweetest way as well and it kinda rubbed off. Nowadays my FB and I call each other "Babe". Mainly by phone, email and text though.
