If I had a child in school I would definitely want an armed guard on campus. Can't see why anyone would object to that in this day and age.

For anyone else guns = violence and too high of a risk.......but not the elite right? They are exempt from the guns = violence problem that sweeps over every other human being near a gun??

Pretty much yeah.
The longer answer though is they are the Elite they do get treated differently as is their privilege as the elite. Why don't we block traffic for three hours when ever a school bus goes by. Perhaps we should seal all the entrances and exits to museums when kids go on field trips as well? If we're using that picture as an example perhaps we should have multiple guards PER student. After all just as many people want to kill Little Jimmy as want to kill President Obama. I bet he's NEVER gotten a single death threat in his entire life.

You can't JUST talk about guns. You're point was that the "elite" are treated differently, not that guns aren't weapons and inherently dangerous as you point out in your second paragraph. So again, why don't we shut down traffic for school buses. We do it for elected officials. Why not have a perimeter around ever school that nobody can get through without several levels of clearance. It's not like you can just walk up and shake Obama's hand, why should you be able to walk onto a school without volunteering for a colonostemy? Why do we let students bring drinks to school? You know they might be mixing up bombs on campus and we think that's a reasonable precaution to take at our airports?
You're final paragraph is stupid. I don't even know how to address such ignorance. All men are created equal. Only a few dozen have become President of the United States. The LEft is about equal opportunity, not equal outcomes no matter what the Right might claim and what you apparently desire.
