Hi to all. Thanks for the invite ...(I accidentaly closed the page and am woefully inadequate to resurrect the invte...sorry, so I do not recall who led me here).

I am honored to be included in your group. It took some time getting here so I assume the selection process is rigorous (please. lie and tell me it is)

I invested 20 years in the USAF, primarily as a training developer. Love to teach and share all I know. I am now an adult educator and am always seeking ways to share my skills.

I am interested in mentoring as others have done for me. Fixing grammar does nothing for the soul. Teach a man to fish...

Good to see that you accepted my invitation. I wish I could lie and say that the selection process is hard and only the best get accepted but you'll come to find out that I don't lie, neither for my friend nor for my foe Easier that way to always stay the same.

Is your editing plate getting full? What kind of editor are you? And I'm not talking the technical aspect of it, I'm much more interested on what's going on through your mind when you're in the process of editing someone's story.

I'll stop here for now as I don't want to scare you away with too many questions..lol

Writing isn't about punctuation, grammar, or spelling. It's about releasing an idea, an emotion, from your very soul and sharing it to others. I think that's why some people are hurt by negative feedback. They are revealing themselves in a way that requires vulnerability, and others that do not possess that ability are unaware of the personal sacrifice being made and end up making comments that are (I hope) unintentionally painful.

Editing is one thing. I'd like to mentor. Tell me how you want a story to end. I'll guide you there with ideas and suggestions, and yes, editing assistance.

If you want a story edited, PM me and I'll return the manuscript within 24 hours (usually). If you want me to mentor you, it will be a longer process but I hope rewarding.

My plate is empty. Always has been.
