Thank you for reminding me why it is important for me to stay away from this place. Pity, still quite a few people here who are inspirational, inviting, and wait five minutes before passing harsh judgement.

most people seem to get along fine here, new or not. as adults, we all have differing opinions. one person offering theirs in a manner some of us wouldn't isn't exactly the same as being railroaded out of the forum. you are more than welcome to use the ignore button when it comes to personality clashes here.

Damn noobs and their complaining!!!

I mean- you're here for your own pleasure and you can mediate your own reactions to stuff (easy to say, harder to do, but possible, nonetheless).

I only saw one thread of yours here so far, (Charachter Defects) and part from one poster with a shall we say blunt attitude, I don't see how you were ran "out of Dodge", as you put it. The occasional disagreeing or disagreeable person is just a fact of life. React as you choose.

Pity if you leave because of that. You seem to have a knack for poetry, judging from the few posts you didn't completely delete. The grass & cow poem was really good imo.

Might I suggest, as someone who has suffered a lot of emotional problems and had to recover from addiction twice (two different problems), that perhaps you are a bit emotionally raw. That perhaps you are feeling a bit too sensitive to cope with the normal bumps in a place like this? Senna was a bit harsh, but I have been hit with a lot worse myself....

It is a very good place to write, Charlotte, and one with a lot of support. Senna has never been one to mince words and I (who've been here a long time) have heard it from him as much as anyone else. If you can't deal with his sometimes sharp tongue, put him on ignore. That's an option we always have here. But in truth he knows a lot about poetry and if you ignore the barbs and listen you will learn and grow.

This is what I meant about you feeling a bit emotional. Sometimes in recovery you are just not up to drama and if you want some advise from a sucess story, ditch the drama. Seeking it is immature and counterproductive to personal growth. If you bored get a hobby...might I suggest writing poetry....

Senna Jawa is right though; stick to poetry here and you won't catch shit (maybe flies though).
