Holla everyone,

I’m a newcomer here so I’ll appreciate is someone would get me a heads up on the forum and related topics. Seems like some of you are anime fans, great so am I. But not of Pokemon, there is a limit to things and seeing the same episode plot over and over again is not my idea of fun.

Right now there are three threads at the top of the ORP boards that have the word "sticky" in the headings. The one I mean is the thread entitled "ORP announcements". That's where the general chat for ORP'ers is, come and say hi!

No. Its a vague reference to Duran Duran.

The original version was ArcRat. Arc is for Arcadia & Rat is the intials of the drummer in the band. (FYI the guys in Arcadia are from the group Duran Duran.)

I have been using it in different forms as my nick/persona for a long time. This is just the latest incarnation of the original name.

The experimenting type I see.
I'll agree with the philosophy of trying everything once. With some exceptions. I'm open minded but my sector is close to certain things.

Bugs are not bad they have a lot of nutrition and vitamins and taste like dirt and crunch like chip when you eat them- well at least that's what I heard.

Well thats true, there are always exceptions, but I'll usually give it some thought before discarding an idea out of hand.

I'm an experimenter and a challenger - take my new ORP thread Game of the Gods for example.. I'm deliberatly challenging the rules of no God-like characters and no manipulation of other peoples characters.. the two fundamental rules of role play - but I think its going to work.

The "other" type of experiments I think we'll leave to imagination hmm?


I think my objection to bugs is more vicerial. I just don't like the thought of eating something that lives under a log. Yet I like mushrooms. Why would ANYONE want to eat something that tastes like dirt anyway?
