Hi,
I've submitted 4 stories over the last week, the first was 6 days ago the last 4 days ago.

I've checked on them and it says they are still pending. I noticed there have been views up to 33 on almost all except for the lastest one which has 22.

Since all these viewings are happening and my stories haven't gone from pending yet. Is this a sign that they will not be accepted or is this normal?

Would love any help on understanding how long submissions usually take to get accepted.

It Is Normal

Dont worry this is normal. The more views it has shows that it is being reviewed. There has been a Valentines contest and they are taking priority apparently. A poem of mine took well over a week and am waiting for a Story to be approved as well. So dont worry it is being dealt with. The people are very good on here. Just be patient and if you do get rejects, just repair them and you will eventually have them passed.

Thak You

Thanx Sissy,
These are the first stories I guess you could say I was brave enough to submit. I've never really thought they were good enough, but I was told to give it a try and got Angel Love (a volunteer editor) to edit them for me and she has been fantastic.

If they get rejected then they get rejected, it'll be back to the drawing board or keyboard.

Should your stories be rejected, please ask one of the editors to assist you with ironing out the problems. A second set of eyes, and an unbiased reader are two of the most valuable tools you can acquire as a writer.

The number or views prior to acceptance, appears to be of no relevance, some are accepted after one or two reads, some after 30.
