Want to earn some quick Lit Brownie points while you also earn the undying gratitude of at least eight of us who post here all the time and will remember your name forever?
We've got the second in a perhaps unending series of GB writing contests going now. (GB = General Board -where you are now- and yes, there *are* other Boards at Lit that are not named "General Board".) We need more readers/voters.
1. Go to the Contest thread.
2. READ the stories. They're all under 1500 words; it's fast and exciting reading. Really.
3. Vote.
Post a little blurb saying that you loved all the stories and it was hard to choose. As one of those who have a story in the contest, i'd prefer that you do *not* state which story you voted for. Let those coming behind you choose on their own, with regard to thier own tastes. Tell us we all did a good job. Don't read the other comments before you read and vote on the stories.
We will owe you big time.
We will remember your nick forever, and with fondness, too.
We will post to you in threads.
C'mon.
Where else can you rack up major brownie points with an investiture of less than an hour? AND you'll likely get kinda excited at least a time or two while reading these stories, too.
