Hi all....I've been writing erotica type stories for ages, and I came across this site today, but I'm not quite sure how it works.

Anyone want to clue me in? I really enjoy writing erotic fiction and I'm amazed at all the members here!!!

Glad you found this delightful joining place of disparate authors.

Go to the Stories Page where you will find whole listings of how to's and FAQ's that will guide you on submissions, rules etc. There is also a helpful section put together with suggestions for improving your stories. Read about the volunteer editors. Submission is easy once you register. You need to register your name twice if you wish to chat as well. The chat section accessed from the main web page has its own registration function.

On the threads here, you can meet some other authors. Many talk about writing. Others just interrupt, digress and post incredible amounts of the most useful information you will ever find. And if you don't believe me, I will tell you again, when I post it

Yes, this place really is pretty awesome! If you like to write you have come to just the right place.

If you have some stories already written, you could submit them as they are or have an editor here help you polish them up. Then they will be posted for potentially thousands to read... and maybe a handful to actually comment or vote on. But it's still a lot of fun.

Then you can kick back and hang out here to learn the ways of the world, so to speak....

Yeah. If you really want opinions, it's best to specifically ask for them though. Once your stories are published on the site, which takes about 3-5 days usually, you can go to the Story Feedback board and post a link to your story and ask for a review. The regulars there are pretty good critics, in my opinion.

If you want a more thorough going-over, sign up for a review on the Story Discussion Circle board. We've also started taking on works-in-progress over there too, so if you're stuck on something, or wondering whether a story's worth finishing, that can be a good place to take it. Everyone who brings in a story for review is expected to do some reviewing too: quid pro quo and all.

The official title is: 'The Not Quite Famous Slightly Secret Six and a Half' and I'm working on it mate, edited out about 800 words last week and added about 1500 on to the end, so it's just about on the move.
