Ive reasearched a few hotels in New york city.

Close to amenities. Within my price range.
Lots of sites to see.

If you're going to NYC

I have a friend who just got back from there. He stayed in a hostel, cheap but he had to share a room with strangers dorm style. Still at 35$ a night.......
He also told me that he couldn't go up inside the Statue of Liberty, security reasons. Everyone wants to go to the top and look out at the view!!! :-( I can ask if he minds me giving you his email if you'd like to ask questions and advice. If not, then enjoy! I know he had a fabulous time.
