I've actually been writing here a few months now (been reading for many years) but only just discovered this section in the forums, so figured I'd say hello.

I'm trying to make it a goal to read more stories and offer discussion and feedback on them, and am always open to comments from my readers as well.

I think it's a positive thing and can help improve my writing skills, plus it can just be fun to discuss stories.

Time is always fleeting, of course, but I will do my best to comment on stories and topics as often as I can.

I'm always happy to receive comments on my stories and always willing to answer questions. M PM box is always open as well.

Not gonna plug any particular story here just yet, you can check my sig link if you're actually interested in reading any.

It's been a lot of fun so far meeting folks and discussing writing and stories.

A belated welcome, although after 18+ years on Lit.com I see you have more posts in the forum than me in only a few months. I enjoyed your story about the lady doctor performing a prostrate massage. It seems you've described my wife's oncology doctor almost perfectly, with the exception of her long hair. I'll take a gander at more of your stories. RT

If I want people to converse with me I figure I gotta take that step and try to converse with them.

Plus it's been helpful in my writing. Asking questions, getting tips and advice etc.

I keep meaning to follow up that Doctor story but I kinda made the mistake of turning it into a relationship thing, which wasn't my original intent, and have been trying to decide how to pursue it from there.

I probably should have just left it as a one shot.

But I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks

Your name looked familiar so I went and looked; I read your BAB story awhile ago and really enjoyed it!

I'll definitely be checking out your other tales as well.

Thank you. I almost made the mistake of asking you to write another chapter to the doctor story, but stopped. After getting lots of requests to add more chapters, change the direction, etc. to some of my stories, I decided not to do that with other writers. You'll never please everyone, write them how you see fit, stop when you want to. I think when the story changes direction organically, it's often a good thing. Maybe if a writer scripts a hard outline, that doesn't happen very often, I wouldn't know.

I don't mind when readers ask for a continuation of a story. It just means they were invested enough in my story and characters to want more. So I totally take it as a compliment.*

A little background on the Doctor series might help clarify my struggles with it.

First of all, that first chapter was my very first story. And it shows. Rough around the edges, especially in punctuation lol.

The idea was simple enough: I wanted to write a REALISTIC story on how a guy could possibly have a sexual experience with his female doctor.

I didn't want her suddenly gushing in her panties and ripping her clothes off at the mere sight of his penis. There are plenty of those stories already.

So I wrote mine. And it got a much better reception than I expected. So I got greedy and decided to continue it, despite having had no actual plan for it.

In the spirit of keeping it "real," I wound up trying to get into the doctors head to explore WHY she did what she did and took the risks she took. And that's where part 2 came from.

Unfortunately, from there, my options were limited.

I could either continue to write the series as a bunch of repeat visits with things progressively getting crazier and more far fetched, which wasn't the intent of part 1, or explore expanding the relationship between the Doctor and patient and have it go that route, which as a new writer, I didn't feel prepared for at all.

And so it's sat dormant.

With a few months under my belt now, and a continuing series (The Jenna Arrangement) that has managed to find a balance between exploring its original CFNM theme and expanding a relationship between two characters, I suppose I could at some point return to the doctor series with a better concept of where to take it.

The other problem is: I'm honestly not all that into anal exploration. I've experimented, and it's done nothing for me personally. The prostate milking idea was simply the most "logical" way to create a sexual experience where in reality there isn't one.

But I doubt I could continue the theme of anal play with any true enthusiasm or understanding of it.

My writing skills really took off once I started giving a lot of critical feedback in this forum. I'm not talking about one polite piece of feedback; I pulled out the flamethrower. I'd read a story and try to figure out exactly why it fell short and then share that. A lot of my advice was "This is how I would have written this story." A lot of commenters would then roast me back. By really wrestling with stories, I learned a lot about what I should do when writing my stories.
