My bananas are ripe in the garden, I've just saw a squirrel giving them the eye.
I’m getting the image of a ‘40s radio announcer saying…
My bananas are ripe in the garden. My bananas are ripe in the garden.
The geese are flying east to crap. The geese are flying east to crap.

You may joke but all around the west coast of france railway tracks are being ripped up and telephone lines cut.

Right, it's 3pm so come dine with me is on the box. I'd do a chicken Thai green curry and jasmin rice. A treacle sponge and kick things off with a bacon sandwich (with a gravy or jus to the southerners)

Blood pudding, normally called Black Pudding, is a normal part of a Full English Breakfast, but Americans don't usually like offal.
Love blood pudding, it was plated uncooked next to the cheddar cheese, tiny pickled onions and crackers. 11am on Sunday mornings.. oh happy days!

We had a secret knock on the door and were allowed to in at 10am. Darts, pool, free nibbles and gallons of lager. Although we'd share a small packet of pork scratchings.

Ok, I've a little time on my hands. To cut a long story short... ballpark but how much could a semi- professional tap dancer make on a good day in London? On a good day...I've bought the shoes already.

Was she in EastEnders or not? Like a few episodes.
not that i recall, though lulu was the name of martin fowler's miscarried(? stillborn?) baby

yes butters.Correct.
Its also Greggs favourite nibble.
greggs' are yummy in a very greasy way... the peppery taste is what hooks people
the ones in the pic are mine with homemade pastry but it wasn't as flaky as i'd like.
Easy there Butters. Putting on saucy photos like that in this weather gets a guy all hot and bothered.
can't have that in the heatwave. sorry, dude.

'My bananas are ripe in the garden?' It sounds like code. Are you currently standing at Checkpoint Charlie by any chance? If you are: 'The green geese will be flying east this evening.' :)
"Broadsword calling Danny Boy, Broadsword calling Danny Boy". Go on then, name that film in one.

I think country houses (big posh ones) had ice houses built outside, usually at least part underground. Packed with ice gathered in winter which lasted ages, into summer.
Yep, I've seen icehouses in stately homes - now there is a good setting for a story!

have things cooled down a bit there yet?

currently, my outdoor thermo reads 100.. should be 96 with a 'feels like' of 103. i'd say it feels closer to 110. tooooooo hot out there. if i move away from the fan i'm a mess.
