I hope everyone's Labor Day has been well!!

I am have been reading Literotica for years.. since I first really started fantasizing about sex. I have had a strange intereste in a D/s relationship, but I do not think it is something I could live in outside of the bedroom and behind clothes doors... hence my problem...
I am curious about turning my fantasy into a reality, but no one would ever suspect me to be into anything "kinky" like that... Not even my current boyfriend...

Hon, I doubt people who know me in real life have any clue about my interests, either... Looks can be deceiving and all that.

If you're currently in a relationship, I'd suggest finding the language to discuss this with your boyfriend, and see what happens. Learning to communicate your interests and desires, is the first step to getting what you want.

Thanks for your advice and responses. In regards to the last post, I am about to turn 21.. so I am young... but by no means naive. The man I have been seeing is older.. he is in his thirties, and I am so scared to bring it up to him... I don't want to scare him away.. and have always hoped I would meet someone who brought the idea up to me... and that I wouldn't have to initiate everything. I guess part of the turn on is taken away when your are having to order him around. He is open minded about sex, but I don't think he would be interested in something as far out there as a D/s relationship. Do you think it is worth the risk?

I am sure some of you have heard of Anne Rice's "Beauty's Punishment" Series, and I have grown up on those books... My first boyfriend loved Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, and through that I found her erotic serious, and glimpsed into the world of BDSM. "As far out there as D/s"... BDSM is everything from pinning a lover's wrists over their head while having sex, to keeping a slave boy/girl in a collar and cuffs 24/7- plus all the parts in between. Every couple determins what BDSM means for *their* relationship.

The only way you will get what you want, is by communicating your interests. Expressing your desires is not the same as "ordering him about"- it's simply expressing your desires. I'd suggest finding the language to do so- a bit of study in the Library thread pinned at the top of the forum might help. As uncomfortable as it is, ya gotta learn to communicate if you ever expect to have your desires met.

As for the Beauty series- it's fiction. No matter how wonderful a D/s couple you are, the bills still have to be paid, work attended to, and dishes done. I seriously doubt you'll find many people who take BDSM to that extreme- even those who live the Lifestyle 24/7. (sorry to burst any bubbles)
