Question...the rules say you need to own the copyrights to what you post. My question is, can anyone recommend a good site to use to do that? Does everyone actually copyright everything they post? I just want to make sure I do this right.

As soon as you write it, you own the copyright. Your talking about registration, which is only worth doing if you intend publishing for money - even so, the need to do that depends where you live.

You only need to copyright things that can be monetized.

For example: If you wrote a story and posted it in the story section, someone else could copyright it, then monetize it, and make you take yours down.

Copyright is just a way of protecting what you own. Regular post here aren't something that anyone can monetized.

To add to what I just posted:

Contrary to what many believe, a copyright doesn't actually protect your work. If someone steals something you created and monetizes it - - you still have to sue them. The copyright just proves that you created it first, and it belongs to you.
