Dawnie gave me permission to share my tattoo picture :) I had this done on Wed, May 3rd...our two year anniversary.

The pain was wonderful...I was bummed when it was over. I truly LOVE the pain of tattooing, heh.

The lettering was there before although she went over it again to fill in some spots that didn't heal well. We added the cherry blossoms. I love cherry blossoms, and wanted something to signify how I've blossomed as a slave under Dawnie's training. There are 3 flowers (for the 3rd) and two loose petals (for two years). I will be adding another petal every anniversary.

Life is fleeting. Live it to the fullest.

Its beautiful
I love the shine that new tats have, before they start healing.
Seeing it makes me tattoo hungry, will have to start batting my eyelashes at him and trying to convince him that just one more would be nice to have :)

Very you, and very lovely serijules.

I love good ink with meaning behind it.

Thank you, and Dawnie for letting you share.

Absolutely Gorgeous! It makes me tattoo hungry too! Congrats on the three years! :) Much happiness to you!

I'm not tatoo crazy, myself, but I must say that is beautiful and the meaning behind it is, too.

Gorgeous! I love the concept - what it all means to you. The petals are very special, indeed.

How long did it take? I have an idea of the size, but can't say for sure. When did you get the "anklet"?

Yes, isn't that a deliciously addictive feeling? It has been almost 5 years (in 1 moth it will be) since my last. I am getting that *itch* again. ;)

Hmm, my appt was at 4 and I was done by 6, but about half that time was us talking and fooling around with the stencil and bullshitting (my tattoo artist is also my best friend). The lettering was already there, but she went over it to fill in some spots that pulled out last time. I heal horribly on my legs for some reason.

I got the anklet last August when I visited my Owner in PA. She has the same one on her back :)

My biggest tattoo is the one on my back...that took 4 sessions and each one was a couple hours or more.

~~SNIP~~
Sorry, I don't like seing large pics over and over and over in a thread. (that's a whole other topic)

BUT, many thanks to your Owner for allowing us to see the one on your back too! That is awesome. I'm quite impressed. :D Although I love ink, seldom do I flip over art - that is A-R-T!!!

Were you two together when you had your backs done? (I should SAY four sessions. jeepers!)

Take the crane (? bird) off and make the moon a sliver attached to the top and bottom of the star & that's what is on my ummm lower abdomen. haha Hazy clouds, twinkles, etc. The coloring on my 4-point star is similar as well. Super cool! (Unfortunately, I got it 17 years ago and needs some SERIOUS re-inking.) It has been a 'work in progress'. Started with the star & moon then added on from there. ;)

Again, wtg on your new tat. Your others are great too. *sigh* My birthday is a 1/2 milestone this year...maybe I can use that as an excuse. (I'll have to ask my Master & see what he thinks.)

Nope, I started getting that one done before we were together. (I knew her for years before we were officially together). The first session was the outline...then 80% of the colour....finished the colour....outline on the background...coloured the background. So actually 5 sessions now that I think of it. Was fucking awesome <g>

She was with me when we got our matching ones done though, and that was a great experience. She kept biting me while he was tattooing me cuz she knew I had to struggle to stay still. She's evil, that woman :)
