Thx

Carl East,

This morning I had the opportunity to read your story. I can't begin to tell you just how exciting it was. One of the most important aspects about your story was the fact that it was written with great thought - this came through in the words you so carefully used.

You didn't go overboard with description - you used just enough to get your points across rather nicely. The hint of eroticism was outstanding...I could see as well as feel those moments that were written about the demon lover...his victims...how he wanted Courtney. You gave me just enough titillation to pique my curiosity, which in turn kept me wanting more.

In case you're wondering, I really enjoyed it. The only problem is that it came to an end.

Thank you for a marvelous read, Carl East.

You're very welcome and may I thank you for such a glowing analysis of my tale. You might also be interested to learn that I've just submitted another short story, this time it's eleven thousands words long. It's called The Making of a Friendship and will be up in a few days.

I'll also leave a link for others to get straight to 'Hell's Gate'

Thx again

Carl

Do you think it has anything to do with the fact that you happen to write an interesting and well written story, Carl? ;)

Hmm, let's see now...you've already submitted part three and you've moved two pages...there must be a pattern here somewhere. lol

Congratulations to you! You must be feeling great right about now.

I'd be happier if the site wasn't so god damn slow, (don't tell Laurel I said that) at publishing my tales. lol

Seriously though, I am feeling good about it. I've also opened up the public comments on all my stories and getting some nice reviews.

I think it's time to get my reading glasses and a cup of tea...it looks like I'll be doing lots of reading. This will keep me occupied while I wait for Part 2, Part 3, and The Making of a Friendship to magically appear.

Have a great rest of your day, Carl. :)

I will certainly try sweet thing.:D

I just submitted part four of Hell's Gate, I was going to finish it off with four but I'm having fun with it so I've decided to do one more.

Carl

Carl,

My gosh, you certainly have been a busy man. By the time I'm finished reading all of your stories and each of the new parts to Hell's Gate, I'll need to purchase new reading glasses.

Although, that will mean I'll be able to read more of your words - maybe that's not such a bad thing after all. ha! (I was looking for an emoticon with glasses but couldn't find one.)

Today I read the story you wrote in which your father was able to stay alive because of the "angel" you met. That touched me so very much. I don't remember the title...sorry about that.

Keep writing, Carl, it's good for the soul...among other things. May I please ask you a question? Did you write the story about your father for a certain reason? I know that when I write something, there's always a part of me inside. I'm just curious.

I had my father in mind when I wrote that one because he'd died. It was called 'A Christmas Tale.'

Thx

Part two of Hell's Gate came out today, hope you enjoy it.

Carl

Carl,

Please forgive me...I'm a little bit behind in my reading. I wish there were more than 24 hours in a day...especially right now.

When do you plan on taking a much-needed deep breath? With all of this writing, you need to, you know.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. ;)

Dear Whisperingwords, you wouldn't believe some of the things happening in my life at the moment. Without wishing to bore you though with my problems I'll simply say that writing allows me to escape from the everyday mundane to a more imaginative world where anything is possible.

Carl,

Your creative outlet is not only helping you - it's helping me, too, in many ways.

I've read and responded...that is all I'll write at this time. ;)
