Nessus Storys

I am a big fan and I love the new story. It's great as usual but I still love the Famous Blue Raincoat. That is the only erotic story I have ever read that made me cry.

I took a gander at Nessus's newest story since I really loved reading her previous story submission. Immediately recognized her unique style of writing and was again quickly drawn into the story. I enjoyed reading this one as much as the last one, but was slightly let down at the end.


Mechanics: Nessus has a great writing style. Paragraph sizing is very good, not too big, and not too small. On Lit's site, if the paragraphs are too big, it's difficult, for me anyway, to read at the pace I want because I have trouble tracking to the next line during the longer paragraphs. Her sentense structure is very smooth. I did not encounter any awkward sentenses at all. Readability-wise it was great. One smooth read. Kinda like taking a long smooth swig of beer. I like her word choice. She gets her point across vividly, but with an economy of words.


Storyline: It wasn't something that blew me away, but I did enjoy it. A domme meeting her for the first time in a crowed resturant. I liked the interaction while in the crowded resturant.


Characters: I like how she immediately puts you in the mindset of the domme. Let's you feel her control over the sub. How the domme can never make a mistake and how it all centers around her. I like how she forced the subbie to do something potentially embarrassing to herself in front of a crowd. This ultimately showed her commit to the domme by being willing to follow her commands to this degree. And being french made really made her fit the bill for me. The domme was sooo arrogant.


Sex: well... this was the let down for me. I'm sure it was done on purpose. I believe this story was more about the domme/sub relationship, so it's not that I'm crushed. I just saw SOOOO much potential for some hot sex... LOL. The bathroom scene begs for it. I at least expected more at the end. Again, I'm pretty sure this was done on purpose.


Overall, another great story from Nessus. I would give it a 4.8 out of 5.0 (if we didn't have to vote in whole numbers). I look forward to reading her next submission.

It's no secret from those who know 'Nessus' well that the immense volume of work was created by two people. The name 'Nessus' is a significant clue ( 'Ringworld' - two headed alien of indiscriminate gender).

In fact, the stories can be divided into 3 sections:

Stories written totally by L*Nessus
Stories written totally by N*Nessus and many many stories co-written but mostly devised by L*Nessus.

There are obviously different styles, although most of the stories were edited by the same editor (L*). Although, N* now has a new editor.

L* writes about sex, N* writes about romance with a little sex. It's an old discussion point, lol.

L* is writing more mainstream these days and has had a little success. I could add that L* is visiting his old friend N* as we speak.

I felt those stories were different from others I tried to read and the post explains there were two people writing together and alone. Or that's the way I read it.

My question was really which stories were written alone ( and by which 'Nessus') and which were written together.
