Hey hun, how are you tonight?

We're having a rough one tonight, our oven died, and we bought a new one and replaced the hood with a microwave. Installation has proven quite difficult, with the removal of cabinets and such. Just a bit stressful.

Hubby wanted to surprise me with popcorn and a DVD, forgetting that he should have put a glass of water in with the bag

Microwave overheated and apparently bright blue flames shot out

We use the m/wave everyday for the kids so a new one was delivered the next day

Mind you it does get hot in the kitchen when everyone's moving and helping

you do fine with both. and trust me, i feel for you. did that to a house we renovated. it was a pain in the ass changing out both, had to build up the floor to fit the new stove, etc. then again, if you'd been bending over in front of me, holding something, i don't think i would've minded it as much.

I started a kitchen fire once when I was 8 months pregnant with my first. I was trying to make fried potatoes, when the grease caught fire. I ran like hell to the neighbors house, mind you I was huge at this point, and had contractions all night. Haha. The entire house was covered in soot. I laugh now, but it was scary shit that day.

Dude, I'm good at house renovations. I know how to drywall and everything. I LOVE doing renovations, my dad is a carpenter and he always took me to work with him. I know exactly how to all of this stuff. It's so much fun to me.
