Hey, imma be in the Big Easy next week! Need tips on food and cool things to do there!

Well, if you've never been there before, the French Quarter is the place to be, jazz clubs, dance bars, cajun cooking. It's been a long time since I've been there so I couldn't recommend much, just keep your eye's open and your wits about you.

You may run across a biker club called the Faqouwees. Last I saw they were a small, close club. Their name came from everytime they went drinking, then jump on their bikes and go riding, only to stop after a time, shutdown their bikes, look around and ask, "Where the fuck are we?"

Good for you. You will love it. Spend some time in French Quarter but don't forget Magazine Street and Garden District. There are so many good places to eat and drink some well known some you can just stumble on. Some famous Cafe Du Monde for beignets, Broussards is a fancy joint with a lot of history. Acme Oyster House is great for good beer and grub and gumbo and oysters. Emmerils Delmonico if you like celebrity chefs with decent but pricey food. Court Of Two Sisters is good for brunch. Lounge Lizzards used to be my favorite dive bar but i think that closed. Central Grocery is famous for their Muffalettas but you can get good ones at Johnny's or Franks or Ignatius out on Magazine. Mahony's and Fresh BAR on Magazine are good too. Sometimes it's best to just stumble around and find yummy food on your own.
