New name chat blocked

Dear team
I had my name changed to my current one but now i can't log into chat as it tries to log in under the previous name .

Previous name :latexminion
New name : Tender_Tasha

Is there anything i can do ?

i have heard that sometimes it takes awhile between the name change and chat to work.
